Challenge Update: A long day, almost over
Carol Campbell survived her ballot challenge in court today, beating allegations from opponent Matt McClure that she derived benefit from a PAC she set up in 2003 without reporting it on her financial statement.
The ruling, like all of those being made today, can be appealed to Commonwealth Court. Some probably will be, delaying final decision on who will appear on the May 15 primary ballot for a few weeks.
Curtis Jones Jr. also survived his challenge from Matt McClure, pumping his fists in the air when the judges secured his spot on the ballot.
Milton Street, meanwhile, was given at least a temporary reprieve when the three-judge panel ruled against the challenge to his financial statement.

He faces a challenge to his nominating petition signatures Monday. Street blamed his nephew, Sharif Street, for the challenge. Street said he wasn't behind the challenge earlier this week.
"They're all his people," Milton Street said. "It's the young professionals. Give me a break."
Was Milton dissapointed that his nephew may have tried to challenge him?
"No, it's going to be disappointing to him when I get on the ballot."
Anna Verna, too, is safe. Damon K. Roberts withdrew his challenge when Verna's attorney produced the second sheet of her financial statement, which included the information Roberts' alleged had been left off. Marian Tasco also survived and the challenge against Maria Quinones-Sanchez was withdrawn.
Among the other updates, looks like Queena Bass and Jesus White will both be on the ballot. Both of the challenges against them were withdrawn.
Among the only candidates tossed from the ballot was Greg Paulmier.
The case against Benjamin Ramos is up now at City Hall. Frank DiCicco should be coming shortly.
