Reform in the Internet age

Reformballotwebbadge_1We were forced to put our Reformers Roundtable partnership with Philadelphia Forward on hiatus during the mayoral race season, but Brett Mandel's quest for reforming city government goes on.

Along with a host of other groups, Philadelphia Forward is helping to launch a wiki dedicated to helping citizens come up a reform agenda.

Citizens can sign on to the reform compact the group is pushing and change and add to the reform agenda. It's part of a series of action items to establish a transparent, accountable, and accessible government that works efficiently for all citizens, not just a few.

Over/under on first potentially libelous statement against an elected politician that needs to be removed? We'll put it at 37 hours. Place your bets.

(Speaking of wiki's, here's one on the mayoral race at Wikipedia. Everything seems legit, except it forgot to mention the candidacies of Queena Bass and Jesus White. I went in there and fixed that oversight. I promise that I didn't add in any of the Metro references.)

UPDATE: Someone went in and cleaned out the Queena and Jesus references. What gives? Hey, they're not going to be major players, obviously, but barring a successful challenge they will be on the ballot. Don't they deserve to be mentioned?
