In a posting to a Phillyblog.com Politics forum post(http://www.phillyblog.com/philly/showpost.php?p=439553&postcount=24) about this list, David Oh states that he has also filed as a Republican for At-Large with 2377 signatures.
Thanks for getting this list out there!

"They shut the door and locked it tight in City Hall's board of elections at 5 p.m."
Alex over at Young Philly Politics says that that's not entirely true:

Did you witness this late filing by Carol Campbell?

OK, I took a bit of literary license on the locked tight at 5 p.m. thing. It was probably more like 5:11 or so....Those that work in the office reported that Carol Campbell filed her petition before the time I was in the room, from 5 minutes before they locked the door, until 30 minutes afterward.
It was rumored in the hallways that her petition hadn't been filed yet, but her name was on the list of candidates shown to reporters.

I've been doing a little Googling to add the candidates that filed that weren't previously on my comprehensive list of city council candidates (http://numsum.com/spreadsheet/show/39877), and it looks like there's a little typo in "Lurina Marshall-Blake" - it's probably Lorina Marshall-Blake, Independence Blue Cross's VP of Government Relations and appointee to a number of state commissions.
